Shadowed and Shadowless

The child inside the looking glass
is shadowless
The child outside the looking glass
is shadowed

The shadowless child sits within
The shadowed child without

The shadowless child is me
And The shadowed child--that's me

My shadowless self stays inside the glass
And my shadowed self without

The me within the looking glass
Is the child who casts no shadow
And the me outside the looking glass
Is the child with a shadow

鏡內底的囝仔
是無影的
鏡外口的囝仔
是有影的

無影的囝仔店置鏡內底
有影的囝仔企置鏡外口

有影的囝仔就是我
無影的囝仔嘛是我

無影的我店置鏡內底
有影的我企置鏡外口

鏡內底的我
是無影的囝仔
鏡外口的我
是有影的囝仔


有影的:有影子的,也暗喻「實在的」的含意。
參:與,以及。
無影的:沒有影子的,也暗喻「不實在的」之意。
外口:外面,外頭。
店置:位在。
企置:站在。
